The concave bowl fits my fingers perfectly, so I can zest a lemon in about ten seconds flat without scraping my knuckles. The blades stay sharp after a month of daily use, and the self-cleaning part actually works—just one quick slide and the zest drops right out.

The built-in cleaning mechanism is the reason I bought this, and it doesn't disappoint—zesting a whole lemon leaves almost nothing stuck in the blades. It's genuinely faster than scraping a microplane clean with my thumb every few strokes.

The concave shape actually guides the peel perfectly, so I get long, even strips instead of pulp everywhere. And the self-cleaning mechanism is no gimmick—a quick twist and it's done.
