Fladle

I keep it hanging on a pot hook right by the stove and it takes up almost no room, which is huge in my tiny kitchen. The flat scoop really does scrape the bottom of the pot clean, so I'm getting every last drop of soup without tilting the thing.

The hook on the edge is a lifesaver—I just hang it over the pot while cooking and don't have to hunt for a spoon rest. Folding it flat means it takes up almost no drawer space, and I love that the measuring marks are right there on the handle.
